Here is my config:

Datacenter 1
Solaris 8
Networker server: 6.1.1
Attached to server: ADIC458

Datacenter 2
Solaris 2.6 storage node (On the SAN)
Storage node: Networker 6.1.1
Attached to server: ADIC1000
Currently the ADIC1000 has 4/DLT7000's attached via 2 differential
scsi cables.

I backup Solaris 2.6, 7, and 8 servers, NT, and MSEXCH here in Datacenter 2
I have added a SAN and most of my Oracle db servers are on this SAN.
I still have many systems not on the SAN.

I am wanting to add my ADIC1000 to the SAN also. I will be adding a Scalar
Storage Network Controller with can handle up to 8 DLT drives. I will also
be adding 4 more DLT7000 drives to the ADIC1000.

My questions:

1) What Legato software would I need to add to get the SAN part to work?
2) Where would that software need to be added? Storage node? Server?
Client?
3) Would I leave the scsi attached part in place? And then have scsi and
fibre?

Any help is appreciated.

Pamela
