Hello Clemens,
To get parallelism in this situation, try this:
Create 5 input files of 70 users each. Create 5 client entries where each
entry names one input file. If these are invoked (or scheduled) at the same
time, you will have achieved a parallelism of 5.
Thanks,
_Scott

Subject: [Networker] Fast Exchange Mailbox Backup
Hi there,
does anybody has an idea to decrease backup time of Exchange Mailbox backup?
Configuration is following:
NetWorker 6.01 on a W2k with 2 x DLT 7000 in a 10 Slot Library SCSI
attached.
Exchange 5.5 SP3 on a W2k with NetWorker Client 6.01 and Exchange Module
2.05
Backup of complete DB (11 GB) with MSEXCH: takes about 30 min. Backup of
Mailboxes (about 350) takes over 8 hours. If we try to use the input file
with "nsrexcsv.exe -I input_file" no parallelism is used. If we try with
savesets like MSEXCH:MB Mailboxname parallism is used, but it works not for
all 350 mailboxes.
Any suggestions?
with best regards
