Yes, it's frequent when you have a lot of files because networker 
need to walk across the index.
For faster recovers, use CLI command "recover -S SSID", you will not
walk across the index and the recover will be faster.

Dell Win2K file server (2 600Mhz processors, 1.5GB memory) with
Networker
6.1.  We had a RAID5 set blow away two drives.  We repaired the RAID and
then proceeded to attempt to recover 133,000 files on 200GB worth of
data.
After marking the entire drive for recovery, the index scan alone has
taken
3 hours.

Is this normal to take this long?
