Hi,

the zap DBIID function gives the restored Database a new ID. This option
has to set when you are restoring logged Databases.
The Domino server sees the Database as a new one and does several works on
her.
Also for a backup it is important, only than the Backup API knows that it
is a "new" Database and needs a full backup.

I have never seen the freeze message, maybe he will say that he freeze all
other operations for the restore?!
