Hold on. I'm confused.

In an earlier mail, you mention that server A is a NetWorker server, but
server B is a storage node. However, the NetWorker server is complaining
that a NetWorker server cannot be used as a storage node.

It sounds as if the NetWorker server software was installed on server B, but
you're trying to set it up as a storage node.

If you want server B to be a storage node, then:
- shut down the NetWorker server software on server B
- remove the NetWorker software from server B
- reinstall NetWorker specifying client and storage node. Do not load the
NetWorker server software.

Now set up the new library by running jbconfig on the server that will be
controlling the robotics on the new library.

Hope this helps,

Wes

In my environment, I have one old library attached to server A; now the new
library arrives and attached to server B. I want Server A to see the old
library as well as server B to see new library at the same time. No library
is being shared here. However, Networker disallowed this upon detecting 2
nsrd running in the network. Why is this so?

Maybe this acts as a safety catch. Networker conveniently assumes some 2
servers are sharing one library when it detects 2 nsrd running, no?
