Here is what we did during a similar DR test.

After loading Networker on the new backup server...

1. Create a Label Template to match what was used with key_system_1.
2. Create a Group for key_system_1.
3. Create a Pool to match what was used with key_system_1.
4. run `scanner -B /dev/rmt/xcbn`  x=number of tape drive. Note the SSID.
5. run mmrecov using the SSID just discovered.
6. Mount the index tape for key_system_1.
7. run `nsrck -L7 key_system_1`.

Performing steps 1-through-7 took about 1.5 hours.

We used Sony AIT-2 tape drives and a Sun 220 at the DR site.
We're running Networker 6.0.2.
