Assuming you have a license, you also have to load the storage node software
on Server B. This might mean unloading the backup server software on the
Server B first and then load the storage node software. Becareful if server
B was running as a backup server since you might lose data. A storage node
does not save indexes since they are only kept on the backup server. Make
sure you are doing what you want.

Our environment:

Server A (Networker backup server)
Server B (Storage nodes)
Using SAN, DDS enabled for both sharing 6 drives on tape library

When Server B is configured also as Networker backup server, I got this
error messages:

(notice)
check storage node: B (a server cannot be a storage node)

The point is, I have some data backed up in a smaller library before the
arrival of this 6-drive monster, in order to retrieve the data, I need
to
attached Server B to the smaller library, so Server B also needs to be a
backup server. How can I achieve that? Is it possible to do it?
