If you really want to do this, the only way I can think of is to partition
your library.  I believe the TS3200 does support this.

You said "tape may be reused by the primary pool."
What is the concern with this?  This is the standard way TSM operates and
I'm not sure why you would want to keep them separate.

I may be wrong, but the only way I know to divide media is by device
class, so I do not think you can do it in 1 library with 1 drive type.
Why the concern about using 1 pool of media for both primary and copy? DRM
will take care of what tapes go where.

~ BOF999 labels will be used for all copypool..
