I would put the command inside a shell script and use that script for the
preschedule command.

Subject: [ADSM-L] TSM-Client 6.2.2.0 and Server 5.5.6.0 -preschedulecmd

Hi TSM'ers,

I am trying to do backups with the TSM Client, 6.2.2.0, running on AIX 5.3,
TL11 against a TSM Server 5.5.6.0

The backup itselfs works ok, but i face difficulties defining and running a
preschedulecmd.

Some diagnosis below:

I have fiddled a bit with " and ' in the Options definition, but to no success.
It seems that the operating system (or ksh to be exact) always gets the
command with leading ", so it cant' be executed.

Any solution to this other than upgrading to server 6.x ?

regards Günther
