[ADSM-L] Lin_tape and persistent naming

Current system:
Suse linux sles9 running under vm 5.4
Lin_tape v1.19.0

I get drivers under /dev/tape/by-id, however these point to /dev/stx instead of 
/dev/IBMtapex; where x is sequencial 0-3.

Will the upgrade to the latest lin_tape for sles9 (1.37) give me persistent 
naming for the /dev/IBMtapex drivers?
If not, do any of the /dev/stx drivers give the same support?

I will be using these for TSM v5.5.
