We run StorageAgents on VIO based tape drives (not tsm servers).  They
seem to work just fine.

We did/do  have problems we are working throught:
- needed a patch to latest VIO server code to allow enough tape targets
- added memory to VIO server (from 1gb to 2gb) to allow enough tape
targets
- upgraded  StorageAgents from v5.4 to v5.5 (NPIV tape support was added
in v5.5)
- we are getting many TAPE_ERR4 errors (working with support)
- just started getting FSCSI_ERR4 errors
- are getting some scsi reservation errors

Hi guys,

I'm trying to find out if TSM 6.x will work in POWERVM (VIOS) AIX setup.
I'm not sure if this is supported as I believe TSM usually requires FC
adapters or SCSI adapters to connect to a tape libraries and storage.
