Restoring a single mailbox requires a restore
of the entire database. In your case, it restored
47 Gig. After the restore of the database and logs
into the recovery database, DP/Exchange mounts the
recovery database and then extracts the requested data
using MAPI CDO.

I am guessing you hit the IDLETIMEOUT value on your TSM Server.
Take a look at the TSM Server console to see if the
TSM Server severed the connection due to IDLETIMEOUT.

If so, increase the IDLETIMEOUT to 120 to see if it allows
the restore to proceed. If not, place a call
with IBM service.
