I would say restore your secondary machine from a mksysb image of your
initial machine, then MAKE SURE AND ACTIVATE ASYNC I/O because that won't be
restored with the mksysb... then the drm file pretty much works like a
charm.

Subject: [ADSM-L] Restore of TSM V6 DB on another machine

For DR purposes, I would like to be able to restore a TSM instance
from one machine to another. With V6, and DB2, this has become a
little harder. I have tried to devise my own process, but I have run
into a permission problem. When I try to start TSM, I get "ANR0186E
There is insufficient authority to start the database manager". From
DB2, if I try to start DB2, I get "SQL1092N "TSMCABW1" does not have
the authority to perform the requested command or operation.". I am
trying to restore the other machines DB, so it doesn't seem like it
should be able to be started anyway. Any ideas on what I can do, or
does someone have a procedure I can follow? Thanks.
