TSM 5.5 on AIX.

I'm freeing up some (primary) disk storage pool volumes out of mostly
empty pools on old TSM servers, in order to free up the volume groups and
raw logical volumes and LUNs.

I've been setting the disk storage pool volumes to access=readonly and
then using the "move data" command to empty them back into the same pool.

Occasionally, once a move data has completed successfully, a particular
volume will not be deletable via "del vol" as it still contains some data.

(Running an audit vol shows that 7 files remain.)

Cycles of successful "move data" don't clear the volume. (I've also tried
these steps with the volume set to access=readw ) Waiting a while and
trying the cycle again, sometimes does work, but not in this case.

Any tips? Does anyone know a method or trick for getting the last objects
to move?

Thanks,
[RC]
