Hi Zoltan
Did you do an install from scratch or did you do an export server and what
about the configuration of those Linux Redhat 5 servers with Tsm 6 (CPU /
Memory ...) . are you please about the performance ?
Kind Regards
Robert

We run only Linux for TSM servers. All are RedHat 4 and RedHat 5. The 6.x
servers (6.1.3.4 production, 6.1.4.0 (yeah, I saw the 6.4.1.4 patch) for
test/heading for production and 6.2.0) are 5.3 or 5.5 for the latest servers.

[ADSM-L] Question about testing version 6 on Linux server Sent by:

Hi to all
I need some advice about making a test to install TSM 6 on a Linux environment,
here some questions:
1. Did someone already did it and can share some advice (Which O.S
?)
2. My TSM server now is on Aix 5 with Tsm version 5.5.2.0 and what
will be the best way to test it on version 6
a. To do an export / import server
b. I think I read that from version 6 you can do a migration of a
previous database version (did can be done from different O.S Aix / Linux
?)
Before I do some investigation by myself if someone can share knowledge or
point to specific documentation will be great.
T.I.A Regards
Robert
