You need to either pay for licensing at the host or client level. If you
pay at the host level you can ignore the VM's. In most cases it is cheaper
to pay for the host, however if you have hosts with very few VM's it may be
more attractive to pay for each VM as if it was a physical machine. You
will need to decide which is best for your operation.

        It is too good to be true... but I am going to ask anyway.
Is there a way to find out the pvu of each client node being backed up on
tivoli without going to each individual box/server to look it up?
