The point is that, the larger the table you have to search, the longer it will
take and the greater the impact on your TSM server. Unless you have a small
amount of data stored in TSM, such searching and reporting is prohibitive. In
any case, there's usually no real purpose to such reporting, particularly from
the TSM server, in that people involved with the client know that data will be
expiring, per agreed-upon policies. Further, client personnel can perform spot
queries on their own, to check areas of interest.
