Check the userid associated with the service. Is it Administrator or
equivalent?

Thank you for the quick reply Chrisian, the key was added but the service still
won't start at boot...no difference.
If you have any other idea I am interested, otherwise I will log a call at IBM.
:)

Stfan

Hi Stefan,
Do you run on Windows?
Open Regedit and search for the TSM Server instance services.
Edit ImageObject key and add -k server1

Good day TSM people of the world!
First of all, TSM 6.2.0.0 seems to install and work out of the box on Windows
2008 pretty well, db backups work without fixes and that makes me happy! :-)
However I do have a strange little issue and that is the TSM server
service...it doesn't work.
The machine is a fresh install of Windows 2008 US standard edition (none R2)
64bit.
The service is installed and set to Automatic but fails to start TSM, however
when I execute the command it tries to run manually on the prompt of the TSM
server it works fine.
Strange indeed, anybody run into this yet and found a way to fix it?
Greetings,
Stefan
