Hi Gary,

So, in summary the business end of this copygroup is like this to my
understanding:

VerExist 1 (i.e. TSM will retain a single version of any objects which have
been modified (and still exist) upon the client)
VerDelete 0 (i.e. TSM will remove all references to any objects deleted (and
no longer exist) upon the client)
RetExtra 0 (i.e. Inactive backups will be deleted immediately - well, after
the next Expiration run...)
RetOnly 1 (i.e. ...except for the last remaining version of an inactive
object, which will be kept for one day - again, pending Expiration
processing)

You wanted something that "will remove all but the last version of all
objects owned by a client". I presume you mean last *inactive* version, as
obviously TSM will never expire an *active* version of a file. In this case,
I reckon it depends upon how you classify any *deleted* objects (as opposed
to modified) and whether they might be valid to keep a last version of as
well. You also don't state how long you want to retain your data - afterall,
if you're keeping the node safe in this domain for 30 days, would you
consider keeping the last version for 30 days as well just in case?

Given the above, that might give you:

VerExist 1
VerDelete 1
RetExtra 0
RetOnly 30

I *think* that all makes sense - anybody else have any corrections/offers on
the above?

node

I am creating a "killoff" domain which will remove all but the last version
of all objects owned by a client.
When they tell us that the node is no longer needed, it will be moved into
this domain for 30 days then removed.

Will the settings below accomplish this?
