TSMers:

New with VSphere is their VCenter-integrated-deduping-backup-applicance
VMWare Data Recovery, VDR for short. Is anyone using TSM to backup its
datastore? The datastore is currently limited to disk: either a CIFS share
or a VMDK. TSM could, of course, backup the CIFS share and could also, I
suppose use the VCB integration to backup the VMDK, but what are people
doing, really? I'm also wondering if the TSM Linux client (the appliance is
CentOS, i.e. RedHat) could be installed on the VDR appliance and used to
back up the datastore.

Any early adopters? Masochists?

Steve
