Hello Steve,
Take a look at the following tech note:
Automating Cluster Continuous Replication backups for Exchange 2007
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21329825
It contains the script with the commands that you are looking for.

Subject: [ADSM-L] Determining Active exchange node in Windows 2008
exchange CCR cluster
Hi all
This is only peripherally a TSM question, but I'm hoping someone may have
come across it.
I'm setting up TDP for Exchange backups on a Windows 2008 Exchange 2007 CCR
cluster. This is a different way of doing things than the old MSCS cluster.
I intend to run VSS+TSM backups on the passive side of the cluster and am
writing some jscript code to run the underlying commands. The only way I
can see to schedule this is to run the schedule on both of the cluster
machines and perform a null op on the active side.
So, how can I determine if the node I'm running on is active or passive? I
can access WMI information from jscript but need to know precisely what to
interrogate.
Thanks
Steve
