Hi Del,

I am just running legacy backups from the primary node. I guess I'm just
looking for verification on what I am reading within the manual. I don't
see how else I could read into that statement, but to me running an
incremental backup would in fact backup the log files and then delete them
which would be clearing the logs. I'm just unsure of myself due to an IBM
consultant telling me otherwise.

Just let me know either way. And thanks!!!!

Hi Joni,

Are you running legacy backup from the primary node?
.... or VSS backups from the replica node?

Data Protection for Exchange supports incremental for legacy backups
but does not yet support incremental for VSS backups.

Thanks,

Del
