[ADSM-L] Problem in data retrieval

Hello,

I am facing a very strange situation:

We have archived using TSM about 270 of data in past.Now when we try to
retrieve the data, the retrieve process runs for some hours approx 3.5
hrs,then without transferring a file dsmc process crashes with error

ANS1030E The operating system refused a TSM request for memory allocation.

Though system has 16Gb of memory.We have also used diskcache method but it
seems the issue is not in memory but somewhere else as o/p of vmstat shows
only 4 GB of memory is used:

My client is Linux machine


Linux tkx010 2.6.9-67.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Nov 7 13:56:44 EST 2007 x86_64 x86_64
x86_64 GNU/Linux

TSM Client=5.4.1.0
TSM Server=5.4.2.0

TSM server and Linux Client both are installed on same machine.

Can someone help?

One more question:Is it true that that all TSM Unix clients are 32 bits
applications and could not address more than 4GB of memory?

Experts please reply asap.
