Happy new year everyone,
We have TSM Client and Server 5.5.1 on Windows 2003 x64.
On the Client side are we running Exchange Server 2007 and TSM for Mail 5.5.
We do also run IBM CommonStore to Archive all our emails that are older then 1 
year on TSM environment.
Everything works great and we have already moved over 500 GB of mail and 
attachment and our Exchange Database has been reduced successfully.

But now to my question, It seams like CommonStore open a new session for each 
email it want to archive. That mean over a 24 Hours period my session counter 
increase with approx 10 000 where only maximum 400 is BA Clients backups 
sessions. Each CommonStore session sends approx 30KB - 1MB and end successfully 
with no retries or resend.
Everything works fine for us but I don't really like it's open so many sessions 
every day.

My question is now. Is it possible to configure TSM to force it have open the 
session for 1 Hour so CommonStore will send all emails to that session number?

We don't have any problems with it. Just wonder if this is possible?
