It is a 3584 SCSI library. I am running a Library Manager - Library
Client architecture. I have checked the obvious things - eg removed
all drives and pathing definitions, checked element locations and WWNs
and redefined all to ensure it is not something silly like incorrect
drive / element definitions etc. Have ran audit library, have visually
confirm the offending tapes are in the library physically etc.

Yep. Ran the audit library checkl=b before but still getting issues.
Only thing i haven't tried is manually try a 'checkout libvol' then
checkin again..

Hello,

First try to run a audit library (checklabel=barcode) to get a real
inventory of your library. Do this when there's no activity on the
library.
