hi all,
i'm in process of moving nodes to new domain and stuff like that and i
have one problem and one question not related to problem :-) ... or
sumtin' like that
anyways ...

Q: what happens to archives when i update node to be in new domain
which of course hasn't the same management class , the name is
different but
retention period is the same ... for example (i have to have new mc
names because old ones are ... too shabby, not helping at all)

node = LOGS

old dom = logs_pd_1
old mc = archive_logs_180_days

new dom = logs_pd_2
new mc = logs_180_days

basically my question is what will happen to data archived with old mc ?

of course move nodedata must also run because i'm creating stuff from scratch

the second thing is ... is there a way to copy schedule definition to
new domain ? this is really pain in the ass ... i even tried to make
select statement from client_schedules to create "define schedule ..."
yada yada but i gave up after few days :-)

thank a lot in advance for any tips
