[ADSM-L] Filespace errors
2008-08-18 12:05:41
A user is setting up a new client on a LINUX box, file shares for a department,
so lots of files in lots of directories in an EXT3 filespace. All goes well
except she gets this pair of messages 16091 times
08/18/2008 00:42:06 ANS1228E Sending of object
'/mnt/ide0/share/rtshare/Thai_Sec_Data/Lin/D:/On the relationship between
Pielous evenness and landscape.pdf' failed
08/18/2008 00:42:06 ANS4042E Object name
'/mnt/ide0/share/rtshare/Thai_Sec_Data/Lin/D:/On the relationship between
Pielous evenness and landscape.pdf' contains one or more unrecognised
characters and is not valid.
The filespace is not Unicode enabled, but the documentation for the LINUX
client gives no help on how to enable Unicode.
