Hi,
Who has an experience about TSM DB restoration? I would like to
know the
procedure after restore TSM DB to the past a few days. Especially
the volume
that just reclaimed on the last few day. I think there are some
conflit
should occured to the volumes which has backed up on last few days
too. Some
volumes contain the data before and after TSM DB backed up.

The TSM Administration Guide manual and the TSM Concepts redbook are
two good books to plan for and deal with TSM database restorals. One
should have a Reusedelay value set to allow for restoring the database
back as far as reasonable, to avoid having reclaimed volumes reused
too soon. Data sent to TSM storage pools between the db restoral
point in time and the latest client sessions is obviously going to be
lost.
