Depending on your policies you may need to retain the data for a while.
We rename the node and keep it for our retention period then delete the
backup data.

This is my  first post. I have servers that have been decommissioned
that
TSM was backing up. I also have new servers that replaced the old
servers.
My question is should I leave the old nodes in TSM for a while in case
of a
restore is needed? Can I just rename the nodes and point them to the new
server?
