is there a bug in the memory-handling of windows baclient 5.5.0.2 or how
does the baclient handles very long lines in dsm.opt? I have to protect
a lot of VMs (VMware VI 3.5, vcb-framework 1.1) with long hostnames. So
I tried (just for fun):

There are 53 virtual machines with a 30-chars name and a 20-chars
nodename :) This is a option of 2702 chars (plus 7 chars for 'vmlist '
in that line.)
The baclient is processing all VMs, but it uses chars 1268-2702 as the
hostname (VMCHOST):

You see this at the gui/vm-preferences, too. No need to say, that this
won't work; dsmsched.log shows 53 failed VMs.
If you define
VMLIST not-again...
VMCHOST vi.dom.tld
VMCUSER abcdef
VMCPW 123456789
the vmlist is cut and the 'vi.dom.tld' is added.
Can anyone confirm this?
