So far quite well, but you have to have a large MAN ring, (cant remember
the size) but we are using 12Gbs FCIP Link dedicated for the FC Tape
drives, our biggest challenge offsite tape library stability.

The beauty of TSM is its flexible, you could also use Virtual Volumes
(assuming your using the Version of TSM that does not require the
reclamation of the Vvolumes to go across that link. Haven't played with
Virtual Volumes in a while but I "heard" that one of the later version
of TSM eliminates the need to have TSM read the Vvolume Data Back to the
TSM Server to do the reclaim. (I could be wrong here)

What Charles recommends will work, but is not the best way to accomplish
what your trying to do.

How well does it work at your site, Charles?
