You'll need to leave the " . " out of the command line on UNIX boxes to make
sure you get files without one, and to cover your hidden ".filename" files.

dsmc archive -archmc=xxxxxx -subdir=yes "/filesystem1/*.*"
"/filesystem2/*.*" "/filesystem3......etc

Without looking at the help for the command line to even see if this is valid
for archive, the first thing that comes to mind is "-sub=yes", or change the
command line to:
archive -archmc=backup_monthly "/.../*" (not sure if that would work either
without testing it) Of course its my understanding that with archive there are
some other options that need to be, or should be set, but again I don't have a
command shell open at the moment so I'm having to go on very rusty memory.

However, I've found that this kind of thing is easier to manage if you setup
different client nodes in TSM for this same box. Its just a personal thing,
and comes from older versions of TSM. But, what I do is setup a "AIX-MONTHLY"
domain, with all the associated setups underneath and have a node called
"servername-monthly". There have been some things that just don't bind to any
other management class but the default (Like
directories) in previous versions, and this was the way around that.

Hi

Can any help me with these issue?

That is the configuration in these moment:

One PolicyDomain with name AIX. Inside this, three ManagmentClass with
name:
backup_daily(default); backup_weekly; backup_monthly.
I have one host (AIX) with filesystem mounts
(/;/usr;/data;/home;/files;etc...). I need take archive backup with command
line and bind with backup_monthly managment class. Im runing these command:
archive -archmc=backup_monthly "/*", But the only backup files that are
directory "/". So....what is the command line to take archive for all
filesystem in AIX host??? Im probe with command archive -archmc=backup_monthly
"/* /usr /data /home, etc..." but give me errors.
With the option '/* /usr /data, etc...'...error... Im create one file that
contain filesystem to archive (fs.txt) and put these command option...
archive -filelist=fs.txt -archmc=backup_montly...and nothing....

Thanks to all, greetings!
