Yes, we are.
It involves setting up a second storage agent on the Windows client.
First, make a directory called storageagent2 in parallel with the first
storageagent directory (e.g. c:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\storageagent2).
Then, copy the dsmsta.opt file from the storageagent1 directory to the
storageagent2 directory, and modify it accordingly - COMMETHOD has to be
TCPIP, and the TCPPort has to be different from the first stg agent.
(actually, in 5.3 and later, I understand you could use Sharedmem, if
unique shmports are specified. Named Pipes will not work.)
Next, open a command prompt, navigate to the storageagent2 directory, and
run the "dsmsta setstorageserver" command, with the -k parameter as shown
below.
...\storageagent\dsmsta -k StorageAgent2 setstorageserver myname=....
Then, from the command prompt, run the command to create the new service:
...\storageagent\install "TSM StorageAgent2" "C:\Program
Files\Tivoli\TSM\storageagent\dstasvc.exe" AdminID Password
The service name has to be exactly as shown, "TSM StorageAgent2" (or 3, or
4 - you can have up to 4 storage agents running on one Windows server).
The client option files have to use LANFREECOMMETHOD TCPIP (or Sharedmem,
if that's the way you went), and specify the correct LANFREETCPPORT (or
shmport) to access the correct storage agent.

I have a LAN free Windows client that I would like to be able to send
backups to two different TSM servers. I would like to know if anyone is
currently doing this.
