What is the size of the copy stg to migrate ?

Hi,

I need to stage data in a copy storage pools.

My intention is to store OFFSITE copy data as stage 1 in a TSM server located 
in other side of town as virtual volumes on disk, but today with version 
5.4.0.3 it is not possible to have a NEXTSTORAGEPOOL on a copy pool to migrate 
data from stage 1 DISK to stage 2 on TAPE, it is also not possible to make a 
script to use move data command to move data from stage
1 to stage 2 when move data command is not valid.

Have any of you experiance to solve the problem of staging copy pools?


I have tried this config:


Server TSM01:
Copy pool OFFDATADSK as virtual volumes on Server TSM02 Copy pool OFFDATA as 
TAPE on a connected 3584


UPDATE STG OFFDATADSK NEXTSTG=OFFDATA     # is not possible
MOVE DATA "TSM02.BFS.XXXXXXXXXXX" STG=OFFDATA     # is not possible
