You just need a client license. Register the node on the TSM server and
install the client on the Windows server.

Subject: [ADSM-L] Lost in TSM licensing

Hi all,

I have been trying to wade through the TSM licensing information to
determine which software I need to order to backup a Windows 2003 server as
a client. Some articles I read say that if the software is for a server,
you need to purchase the same software as if you were setting up a TSM
server, that the client license is only for desktops. The IBM website
talks about TSM EE and DR but does not mention this specifically. I have
also heard that it depends who you speak to at IBM that determines your
answer. Can anyone help me determine which product I need to order and what
the difference is between these? Thanks.

d5158ll - TSM Client license + maintenance
d56fell - TSM EE 10 value units license + maintenance
d51mkll - TSM EE Client license + maintenance
