The storage pool is 140TB, so not an option. The data I need to move is
archive data.

I started an export node with just that data, but from the speed of it, it
looked like it would take 120 hours or more. I'm going back to my original
thinking, and doing move volume tempstg, move nodedata tempstg tapestg, move
nodedata diskstg

What is the total size of your pool ? Up to 6 TB for your problematic
node, but how many from other nodes ?
Since you are ready to transfert 6Tb :
1- Create a sequential pool
2- migrate from disk to newly created sequential pool
3- move nodedata from this sequential pool to target sequential pool
4- migrate the last data's from this sequential pool back to disk...

Hum, not very quick...

Thanks
Pierre

If you are not in hurry and your retention periods are not too long,
simply update that node´s backup storage groups to point to the new
sequential access pool (which is to be done anyway) and have the your6TB in
the old random pool expired with the time.

This is an idea I had not thought of. Thanks for the tip.
