The owner of a MSSQL application has asked for a monthly snapshot of the DB
to be kept for 18 months as well as the regular daily backup which has a 31
day retention period. The obvious solution would be to make a dump outside
the TDP onto disk and let TSM catch it when the host machine is backed up
at night. Unfortunately, all the local disk is full and when the dump is
put on a SAN volume, TSM produces this message:

03/20/2007 02:54:25 ANS1228E Sending of object '\\gargoylecluster\m$' failed

03/20/2007 02:54:25 ANS1153E Drive : is a cluster disk.

Not valid for backup/archive when CLUSTERNODE option is NO

But it also fails when the CLUSTERNODE option is YES. It would be nice if
we could write this into an archive, but that process isn't available.

Is there any way to do this short of defining another TDP node on the
machine to run this monthly backup?
