Version is 5.2.6.1 and does not support these options for 349x libraries
for "checkout", but does for "checkin", if that makes any sense. I
didn't think that possible, especially since I had used it for checkin,
but I should have paid more attention when reading the help.

VOLRange

Specifies two volume names separated by a comma. This parameter,
which

applies only to ACSLS libraries, is a range of volumes to be
checked

out. If there are no volumes in the library that are within the

specified range, the command completes without errors.

VOLList

Specifies a list of volumes to check out. This parameter only
applies

to ACSLS libraries. If there are no volumes in the library that are
in

the list, the command completes without errors.

What message or error are you getting? The help for CHECKOut LIBVolume

on my 5.3 server (on AIX) clearly lists the VOLList=FILE:file_name form

as valid for a 349X library. (Although I don't recall if I've ever used

it myself.)
