The tape-list file has to be reachable by the server, not your desktop
client. You are telling the server to look on its D: drive.

Subject: [ADSM-L] 3494 checkout volumes

I was playing with the checkout command trying to get a load of scratch
tapes out of the 3494 with REMOVE=NO. So far I haven't had any luck.
When using vollist=file:filename the server response says list file
d:\tapevol could not be opened. I have tried specifying the complete
path to the file without success. I am doing this from my desktop, not
from the TSM server itself.

The command I am using:

checkout libvol 3494lib VOLLIST=FILE:D:\TAPEVOL remove=no
