Paul,

Use q drm s=dbb or s=dbs depending whether you send database backups or
database snaphots offsite. That will show you expired db backup tapes as
well.

Subject: [ADSM-L] How to list available scratch tapes

I would like to know if there is a command that can list what tapes are
available to be checked in as a scratch tape.

The "q drm" command will tell me some of what I need in that any volume
with a "Vault Retrieve" status is available as a scratch tape, but that
seems to miss the tapes that have been used as offsite database backup
tapes (of which we keep the latest 7 volumes).

>From my manual checking it appears that the volumes MISSING from the "q
drm" command are tapes available to be checked in as scratch tapes,
however I would like a command that tells me what these tapes ARE, not
what they AREN'T, if you get my drift.

Regards
Paul
