The backup window can be extended using the dur and duru parameters of
an 'update schedule' command; use 'help update schedule' for detailed
information on the parameters.
I'm not sure if you will have problems making the window >24 hours if
the schedule is expected to run once every 24 hours though: Multiple
schedules on one node may not execute if a previous schedules running
time extends past the window of a subsequent schedule.
