My sympathies.  Intel Mac support should have been here when Intel
Macs came out: there was, after all, an Apple developers program for
it.  Tiny, one-application companies were ready: certainly, IBM could
have been.

As far as I know, TSM reports only "Mac" for the Macintosh client
type, in Query Filespace, Query Node, ANR0403I, ANR0406I, and the
accounting log.  A site might adopt a convention of having the Mac
machine name include its device type, to facilitate support.
