Re: Running TSM _server_ in an virtual machine

Don't know about the tsm server but I do have a hunt for the vm guest as 
clients. 

We were having trouble with the clients missing and failing and we found that 
memory efficient helped alot

We have enough challenges getting VM Guests to behave well as TSM
clients, let alone servers.  You really want to be bleeding-edge, don't

It remains unsupported, and is not recommended (bitter experience).
There is just too much traffic pushed across VMWare's virtual fiber
connections to get 10% of the throughput you get from physical
connections.
