I have a similar configuration and I see in the process table
that when a DB backup completes, it sometimes sits there for a few
minutes before the process disappears, but I can't say I have ever seen
1.5 hours. Is the TSM server extremely busy with expiring inventory or
something else?

now, it has been on the final page for 1 1/2 hrs.  Are others seeing
