We added an entry to the dsm.sys file in the ba/bin directory for that purpose.
This allows us to logon to the storage-agent from the client (dsmadmc
-se=storage_agent).

SERVERNAME STORAGE_AGENT
COMMmethod SHAREDMEM
ENABLELANFREE YES
LANFREECOMMMETHOD SHAREDMEM
LANFREETCPPORT 1500
LANFREESHMPORT 1510
PASSWORDACCESS prompt
TCPServeraddress 127.0.0.1

Another way to see if it is LANFree is by a "q dr f=d" on the TSM server. The
drive should be allocated to the storage-agent in case of a lanfree
restore/backup.
