Andrew -

The prevailing info we have about Reclamation, as embodied in the TSM
Wiki and ADSM QuickFacts, is that volumes are chosen by the oldest "Date
Last Written", not Pct Util or Pct. Reclaimable Space. (This is, of
course, subject to change as the architecture evolves.) TSM wants to
generally use resources in a rotational manner, and so getting oldest
tapes back into active use makes the most sense from that point of view
- though it certainly can delay scratch availability.
