There is an OEMVS client for the unix file system on mvs. And it can connect to 
an non mvs tsm server.

I was wondering if mvs mainframes are a supported client.  I looked around a 
bit, and couldn't find it listed anywhere.  Normally I would've called off my 
search, but I'm a bit surprised that ibm's backup software can't backup their 
own mainframes.
