Hello everyone,

We are beginning the testing of TDP for Oracle and I was just wondering if
a majority of you go directly to tape? And if so, how do you know it's
going to tape and not the disk pool? I have defined a default management
class for our TDPO domain which is supposed to go to our disk pool. I
don't have a dbt_tape device class set up on my TSM server, so I am a
little confused by the output that was received when they used the TDP
client on the oracle server. Can anyone clarify how I can tell how the
data was transferred in the below messages? It looks like it was using a
tape drive, but I don't know how that's possible. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
