Devclass server question

What will be the most appropriate maxcapacity when defining a devclass of type 
server (for server to server virtual volumes) if the volumes in the target 
server are lto2. Big capacity like 400GB as a capacity of an lto2 tape or 
something like 40GB.
Can anybody explain to me what will the best approch .....
