I quite agree with your comments, IBM have regressed with the new
interface, it's much more complicated than it needs to be.

Kathy,

Many, many thanks for your help, I'll sleep a litle bit wiser tonight !

However I'm still wondering why IBM engineers built such a
complicated/unusable interface :
- old web interface : 3 clicks, 10 seconds and immediate visibility of
the action schedule I created
- new interface 11 clicks + keyboard entry of the page # I want to reach
in the node table, 30 seconds, no idea of the name of the created
schedule ...

Some people may call this progress, for me it's just regress ...
Just my opinion however, some may like it (masochists ?)

Thanks again.
Regards.

Arnaud

In addition to what I posted previously, this is another mechanism From
Administration Center, 1. Click "Tivoli Storage Manager" folder in the
ISC navigation panel.
2. Click "Policy Domains and Client Nodes" from the work items list.
3. Click server name. (i.e: Server1)
4. Click the customer's policy domain. (i.e: Standard) 5. Click
"Client Nodes" from the work items list to display a table of client
nodes 6. Select client node that you would like perform a client action
7. From the list of table actions, select "Perform a Client Action"
8. A form will replace the table of nodes 9. Fill in the form as desired
10. When OK is selected, a DEFINE CLIENTACTION is sent to the server

What I posted previously:
You can not directly perform the equivalent of the DEFINE CLIENTACTION
command. In the Policy Domains and Client It must be done indirectly and
first requires the user to define a client schedule. They can then do a
"Run now" of this schedule. Here are the steps.
